Job Description:
The Biomedical Cybersecurity Technician must reflect the customer’s mission, vision and values, adheres to their organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures and guidelines and all other regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing, servicing, and securing biomedical equipment
Protecting our medical devices and networks from cyber threats
Assisting other technicians in their daily operations
Qualifications
Must be a team player
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts
Knowledge of networking, and cybersecurity principles
Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, medical device protocols, and regulatory requirements
Desirable/Preferred Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in biomedical engineering, cybersecurity, or related field
1-3 years of experience in biomedical equipment repair and/or cybersecurity
Knowledge of medical device functionality
Other Requirements of the Job
Must have reliable transportation/ Expected to travel at least 2 days on site in the Augusta region
Must be on-site five days a week
An hour commute is average
Must have full range of motion
Must be capable of walking 10,000 steps a day
Salary Range
$40,000 to $50,000
Salary : $10,000 - $50,000
