We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own vehicle to deliver products to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain your own vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition for safe transportation.
- Execute timely deliveries of goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns during the delivery process.
- Utilize manual transmission skills when operating vehicles as required.
- Handle loading and unloading of products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse and during transit.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating box trucks or vans is advantageous.
- Experience in moving or logistics-related roles will be considered a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficient in using pallet jacks and forklifts; certification may be required based on company policy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while adhering to schedules.
