The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and storing materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role supports inventory accuracy, production flow, and timely order fulfillment during the 2nd shift.
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack) to move materials and products
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner
- Transport raw materials to production areas and finished goods to storage or shipping zones
- Pick, pack, and stage orders according to company procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory through scanning systems or manual tracking
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
