Punch Press Operator Strippit

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Punch Press Operator specializing in Strippit machines to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will operate and set up punch presses to produce precise sheet metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Your expertise in mechanical blueprint interpretation, tooling setup, and safety standards will be vital in maintaining efficient production workflows. Responsibilities

• Operate Strippit punch press machines efficiently, ensuring accurate production according to technical drawings and specifications
• Set up and adjust tooling, dies, and fixtures for optimal machine performance and product quality
• Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure precise fabrication
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of punch presses to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating punch presses or similar CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Experience with tooling setup, sheet metal fabrication, and quality inspection techniques
• Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
