Position Overview
Precise Industrial Coatings is seeking an Operations Manager to support and improve daily operations, customer execution, and internal coordination as the company continues to grow. This role will work closely with leadership, production, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated, properly scheduled, and consistently executed.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities evolve and collaboration is critical. This role is intentionally designed to grow in scope over time as systems mature and responsibilities are refined.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Order Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, scheduling, and execution
- Coordinate customer requirements internally to ensure clear priorities and expectations
- Communicate timelines, changes, and risks proactively
- Support consistent, professional customer communication
Operational Coordination
- Assist with daily and weekly production planning and scheduling
- Coordinate across production, quality, and shipping to support on-time delivery
- Identify potential execution risks and work with the team to resolve them
- Help improve information flow between office and shop floor
RFQs & Quoting Support
- Coordinate incoming RFQs and pricing requests
- Ensure RFQs are reviewed for feasibility, capacity, and clarity before quoting
- Support consistent and accurate quoting practices
- Maintain organization and tracking of RFQs and active quotes
Process & Systems Support
- Help identify inefficiencies or recurring execution issues
- Support implementation and refinement of standard workflows and documentation
- Assist with ERP / job tracking system usage and optimization
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
Quality & Compliance Support
- Work within ISO 9001 procedures and documentation
- Support corrective actions and audit preparation
- Help ensure customer requirements are met consistently
- Assist with quality-related communication and follow-up as needed

Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience coordinating work across multiple teams
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, evolving environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to balance customer needs with operational realities
Preferred Experience
- ISO 9001 environment
- Industrial coatings, manufacturing, or regulated production
- ERP or job-tracking systems
- Continuous improvement or process optimization experience
