Precipart, located in Farmingdale, NY, is seeking a well-versed Senior Human Resources Generalist to elevate our HR function and partner closely with leadership. We’re looking for a highly independent professional who takes initiative and drives best-in-class HR practices while delivering hands-on support in a growing mid-sized manufacturing organization. This role blends strategic thinking with execution, leading efforts across employee relations, performance management, recruiting, engagement, talent development, and compensation practices, while supporting the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with the Senior Manager of HR, you’ll help strengthen teams, enhance culture, and drive key workforce initiatives. You’ll also mentor the HR team and ensure consistent, high-quality HR support across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, builds strong relationships, and brings a practical, “no task is too big or too small” approach to their work.

Essential Functions
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Lead complex employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Coach managers on performance management, documentation, and employee issues
- Support and enhance performance and development processes, including reviews, feedback, and workforce capability building
- Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve performance and reduce risk
- Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement and workplace culture
- Analyze engagement feedback and workforce trends to drive meaningful improvements
- Support talent management efforts including development, retention, and internal mobility
- Identify workforce skill gaps and support training and development initiatives
- Lead full cycle recruiting for salaried, technical, and leadership roles ensuring consistency and a positive candidate experience
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, candidate evaluation, and selection decisions
- Ensure alignment of hiring decisions with workforce planning and organizational needs
- Develop, update, and maintain job descriptions, ensuring alignment with organizational structure, talent strategy, and compensation frameworks
- Leverage HR data and insights to identify trends and inform decision-making
- Support workforce planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives
- Support and contribute to compensation practices including market benchmarking, internal equity analysis, offer alignment, and salary band/pay grade development support and administration
- Support and contribute to training strategy and workforce development initiatives
- Facilitate or support leadership, compliance, and performance-related training programs
- Partner with leadership to identify and address workforce capability gaps
- Support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of HR policies and employee handbook
- Ensure consistent application of policies and compliance with employment laws
- Maintain strong documentation practices to mitigate risk
- Support HR systems, reporting processes, and data integrity initiatives
- Contribute to HR reporting, analytics, and workforce insights
- Provide support and guidance related to workforce administration activities as needed
- Responsible for conforming with the company’s quality management system requirements, as well as contributing to its overall effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices/behavior.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience with hands-on responsibility across multiple HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and talent support
- Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement
- Experience supporting a workforce of 200 employees, preferably in manufacturing
- Experience conducting compensation benchmarking and working with salary bands or pay grade structures
- Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance
- Requires flexibility to manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and coach leaders
- Comfortable working strategically and tactically
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust
- Highly adaptable with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required, with demonstrated ability to analyze data, develop reports, and create executive-level presentations.

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
