Recruiting Specialist (Part-Time)

The Opportunity

Precious Plate is hiring a Recruiting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the human resources department in recruitment, helping to attract and retain top talent. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule between the hours of 8am-5pm, 24-30 hours per week, reporting to the Human Resources Manager. This position is on-site only. The salary range for this position is $26-$30 per hour depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the full-cycle recruitment process in an efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner through posting jobs, attending career fairs, tracking candidates, interviewing, conducting background checks, and extending offers of employment
• Meet with hiring managers to understand their needs
• Utilize creative recruitment strategies for various roles in manufacturing and support departments to develop a qualified candidate pool while building employee-based brand equity
• Participate in strategic recruiting projects to advance the function of recruiting
• Sourcing qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
• Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding processes
• Create and/or revise job descriptions and perform necessary revisions as needed
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Other HR related initiatives as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Associates degree in business with HR concentration preferred or a certificate in lieu of degree
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification welcomed
• Experience with ADP Workforce now preferred
• Will possess highly effective communication skills, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to exercise independent judgment while problem solving
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required
• Our 24/7 facility requires periodic HR support for training, employee meetings, and benefit enrollment purposes
• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Working Conditions

• Majority of responsibilities will be performed in an office environment
• May be required to occasionally walk through the manufacturing environment
