Job Description:
As a Preschool Teacher at Precious Moment Christian Preschool, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the early learning experiences of our students. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of preschool-aged children.
- Facilitating engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Establishing positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning community.
- Observing and assessing children's progress, and providing feedback to support their individual growth and development.
- Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Associate (CDA) or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or early learning setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
