Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team at Precious Metals Refinery, L.L.C. This role is crucial in supporting our mission by managing HR functions that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in ensuring compliance with overseeing various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, maintain records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment processes to attract top talent
- Employee onboarding
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws for Arizona & California
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
- Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries
- Maintain and update employee records
- Assist with payroll
- Ensure proficient written and verbal communications
- Coordinates worker’s compensation claims and unemployment claims
- Support and Assist CHRO
- Participates in employee relations matters, facilitates open employee communications and assist with documentation requests
- Collaborate on strategic HR projects to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and government reporting requirements concerning employment including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Department of Labor, worker compensation, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and assist and support Executive team with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with talent acquisition and employee relations preferred.
- Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) certification a plus.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office, payroll system, benefit administration system.
- Problem solving skills – identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of three years professional level Human Resources experience required.
- Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license
- Work in office Monday - Friday

SALARY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE
