The Program Manager oversees the daily operations of the residential program, supervises staff, coordinates services for youth, and ensures the program operates in compliance with licensing and agency standards.This role serves as a primary liaison between staff, schools, families, therapists, and state agencies while advocating for the youth in our care.Program OperationsCoordinate and oversee daily residential program operationsSupervise direct care staff and assign staff to youth as neededReview shift notes, ABC data, and caregiver logs for accuracy and completenessRespond to staff questions, concerns, and operational needsEnsure program compliance with Washington Administrative Codes (WACs) and licensing requirementsMaintain house organization including inventory, groceries, and weekly menusConduct fire drills and safety checksMonitor house maintenance and communicate with landlords when necessaryYouth Advocacy & CoordinationAttend IEP meetings and advocate for youth in school settingsCommunicate regularly with IEP case managers, teachers, and school transportationCoordinate doctor appointments and medical careTransport youth to appointments when necessaryMaintain communication with parents or guardians and ensure engagement plans are followedCoordinate with behavior specialists regarding behavioral needsPlan and support community inclusion activitiesMedical & DocumentationReview Medication Administration Records (MAR)Order medications as neededCoordinate nurse delegation servicesMaintain accurate and up-to-date youth filesComplete and submit incident reportsPrepare and submit referral packets (acceptance or denial)Agency & Compliance CommunicationCommunicate and attend meetings with DDCS and other state agenciesMaintain familiarity with state licensing requirements and regulationsComplete Quarterly Reports and IISP updatesEnsure documentation meets agency and state standardsStaff Support & AdministrationTrain and guide new hires including 30-hour onboarding checklistsMaintain archived records and program bindersEnsure staff documentation is complete and compliantSupport team development and staff performanceLicensing & AvailabilityBe available by phone or in person when neededBe available within 30 minutes for licensing visits or urgent mattersMinimum Qualifications3 years experience working with youth or childrenExperience in residential care, behavioral health, social services, or youth programsStrong leadership and organizational skillsAbility to work with multiple agencies and professionalsValid First Aid/CPR certificationValid driver’s license and ability to transport youthAdditional ResponsibilitiesProgram Managers may also assist with:Supervising youth during activities and daily routinesSupporting youth with hygiene, meals, and daily living skills when necessaryTransportation to school, family visits, and appointmentsMaintaining a safe, clean, and structured environmentWhy Work With Precious Home CareLeadership opportunity within a growing organizationAbility to make a direct impact in the lives of youthSupportive leadership teamOpportunity for professional growth
