PHC is looking for adaptable and skilled individuals to join our team for a range of shifts—including overnight, morning (during school breaks only), afternoon, and weekends—as we provide care 24/7.We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities. The children in our program thrive under the guidance, supervision, and mentorship of responsible adults. Since much of our support occurs inside the home (facility), we also appreciate team members who are enthusiastic about taking children into the community for engaging and enjoyable activities.Compensation starts at $21–$23 per hour, based on experience.Our staff inspire and assist the children to excel in environments that promote independence and normalization, helping them achieve their personal goals. Team members provide guidance and instruction in areas including:· personal hygiene· grooming· cooking· cleaning skills· socialization· recreation· medication management· menu planningStaff participate in special community events and a variety of enjoyable activities such as outdoor walks, games, and social gatherings.Requirements for staff include:At least one year of relevant childcare experience (such as babysitting, daycare, nannying, or educational backgrounds related to child development/care)Patience and stamina to meet the demands of working with childrenStrong communication skills with both adults and childrenAbility to follow established daily routines and plans for the childrenCompletion of daily notes before the end of each shiftLogging all shift events for the next staff memberReviewing previous shift notes at the start of each shiftParticipation in pre-service and in-service trainingMust be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or GED equivalent Clear criminal history and successful background checkIn-person infant/adult CPR/First Aid certification and Bloodborne Pathogen certificateNegative TB testFood Handlers permitValid driver’s license, access to a car, and proof of car insurance.
