Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to consumers in a home care setting.
Duties:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Help patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Willingness to work in various medical settings including inpatient, outpatient, clinics, and emergency departments
- Need to have reliable transportation and auto insurance
