Qualifications:
- Experience leading group fitness, wellness, or recreational activities, ideally with older adults or diverse populations.
- Knowledge of basic exercise principles, mobility and fall-prevention practices, and safe movement modifications for varying ability levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, encourage, and build rapport with participants and colleagues.
- Organizational skills to plan classes, manage schedules, set up equipment, and document attendance or program feedback.
- Ability to work on-site in Eaton, OH, follow safety guidelines, and respond calmly and appropriately to participant needs or emergencies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications in group fitness, senior fitness, or wellness instruction are preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to supporting inclusive, non-discriminatory, person-centered programs.
