Position Overview
We are looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive Project Coordinator to support renovation projects and perform inspections on new construction multi‑family developments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing office-based planning with hands‑on field work and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
You’ll work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Administration
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets
- Review scopes of work and obtain estimates for renovation projects
- Create and maintain project schedules
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and vendors
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and on‑site teams
- Schedule material deliveries and installations
Field Oversight & Quality Control
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications
- Identify potential issues early and develop contingency plans
- Address problems quickly to minimize delays
- Oversee final inspections and punch lists
Project Execution
- Prioritize tasks to ensure smooth project progression
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in project management or project coordination
- 3 years of experience in residential or commercial construction
- Ability to travel locally (mostly day trips) and out‑of‑state as needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
