What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funding Specialist III - INTERNAL ONLY position at PRC-Saltillo?
Position Summary: The Funding Specialist (FS) III position is trained in various tasks resulting from the influx of paperwork involving Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Insurance. This person will enter new funding applications into the database, review applications for accuracy, and process the application through Medicaid, Medicare, and Insurance companies. The FS III will fill in on multiple regional teams as directed and provide training related to the funding process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
***All duties and responsibilities that a Funding Specialist I and II complete as well as the following:
- Assists and/or fills in on regional teams to support staff shortages, high-volume demands, and/or other regional needs.
- Assists with training staff on the funding process and best practices.
- Identifies training needs within the regional team(s) and collaborates with management to resolve them.
- Assists in maintaining and/or developing work instructions and/or training materials.
- Provides feedback and offers suggestions to improve the funding process.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the Sales department.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma is required. Associate’s degree and two years of experience in medical field or office environment is preferred. An individual with an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications is required.
- Previous experience as an FS II is required.
Salary : $26 - $32
