Position Summary: The Accounting Manager supports all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, general accounting, treasuring management, and compliance for the Company. This role develops relationships and works regularly with all North American department leaders, international subsidiaries, and external partners in expense management, audit, and tax.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supports the Finance team to successfully generate accurate and timely monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, key performance metrics, and supporting analytical documents for North America.
· Supports the annual financial audits in coordination with an external audit firm for North America.
· Supports the annual budgeting process for Liberator Communications Canada including units, revenue, and transfer pricing updates, to be completed for timely Board review and approval.
· Manages all merchant services for the Company including managing users in all merchant services databases and answering questions/resolving issues as they arise surrounding payments.
· Maintains the US and Canadian Chart of Accounts and enforces internal controls around the monthly/annual closing process.
· Manages the US and Canadian bank accounts for the Company, ensuring proper record keeping, reconciliation and internal controls.
· Manages North American Payroll, including processing payroll on a regular basis, overseeing all payroll compliance and associated tax filings.
· Works with the Finance team to identify and implement efficiencies and improvements for both the team and the Company.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
· At least six years of experience in Accounting and Finance with increasing responsibilities is required.
· At least two years in payroll processing and compliance is required.
· Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, tax, and financial reporting is strongly recommended.
· Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and general billing knowledge is preferred.
· Prior management experience is a plus.
