What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at PRC Grading Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators ,loaders, skid steers articulated dumptrucks etc
- Perform tasks such as digging, building, and moving materials using equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills:
- Proficient in operating a variety of heavy equipment,trucks, bulldozers, backhoes,loaders,excavaters etc.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or instructions for specific tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
