Job Title: Chief Operations Officer | COO

Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee all operational functions across PRC’s program areas - including Community Engagement, Education, Medical, Support Services, and Volunteerism - as well as information technology, facilities, and website operations. As a key member of the Directional Team, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, and alignment with PRC’s mission, including oversight of patient marketing initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities:
Operations, Administration, and Leadership
o Provide direct leadership to, coaching for, and performance oversight of all program directors (Education, Medical, Support Services, and Volunteerism), as well as the Office Coordinator and the COO Executive Assistant, ensuring alignment with PRC’s mission, strategic plan, and service standards
o Direct and monitor the administration of IT systems, processes, and efficiencies, including management of key technology and software vendor relationships, to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective operations
o Collaborate closely with the Development Officer, Community Engagement Director, and Graphic Design Consultant to develop and maintain concepts, campaigns, and processes that reflect a consistent PRC brand across all platforms and audiences
o Evaluate the effectiveness of current patient/client marketing strategies on a regular basis and, while sustaining what works, research and recommend alternative or emerging approaches to increase reach and impact
o Oversee all aspects of building safety and security, including but not limited to emergency drills, security cameras, building access controls, lighting, signage, and overall exterior/interior appearance
o Establish, communicate, and enforce guidelines governing all facility use to ensure safety, stewardship of resources, and an excellent experience for staff, volunteers, and guests
o Oversee direction for facility care and maintenance, including cleaning and upkeep performed by paid staff, volunteers, or contracted services
o Partner with interior design consultant to maintain workplace design and function
o Serve as a spokesperson for the organization, as needed, representing PRC’s mission, programs, and values with clarity and professionalism
o Draft, edit, and/or approve community-facing correspondence and communications, as requested, to ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and brand
o Provide support to the planning, strategy, and execution of fundraising and community events, as requested, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with Development goals
o Partner with the HR Consultant on organizational design, staffing structure, and job description development/revisions to support current and future ministry needs
o Prepare and provide the CEO and Board with regular, accurate metrics and dashboards on program effectiveness, operational efficiencies, and progress on Major Strategic Initiatives (MSIs)
Position Requirements:
o Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field; administrative emphasis or experience is ideal
o Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in a non-profit, preferably Christian, setting
o Demonstrate a servant-leadership mindset in all interactions, modeling humility, transparency, discernment, and grace under pressure
o Collaborate with high-performance executive team while building and strengthening programs
o Teach, instruct, direct, and affirm others in a manner that develops talent and reinforces value
