About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our products meet established quality and regulatory standards through inspections, testing, and process monitoring. The Quality Assurance Specialist will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and compliance teams to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in product quality.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Document and report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control procedures and standards.
- Partner with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, inspection results, and corrective actions.
- Support training initiatives to educate employees on quality policies and best practices.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to support process improvements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement in quality initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and auditing procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality control or related manufacturing roles.
- ASQ certifications (CQT or CQA) a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility with exposure to equipment and processes.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
