Position Highlights

• Schedule: 9 shifts per month (full-time).
• Compensation: $900 per shift (competitive, shift-based model)
• Flexibility: Option to work additional shifts as available
• Setting: 100% outpatient urgent care
• Collaboration: Partner closely with Family Medicine and specialty teams within the Praxis Health network

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with background in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, high-quality care
• Interest in working collaboratively to improve health outcomes and enhance patient satisfaction

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

• Currently licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (FNP) 
• Required: 1 year of experience as a licensed PA or NP in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a licensed PA or NP in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
• Clinical competency and expertise in caring for patients
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
• Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Respect for patient's confidentiality
• Compassionate and approachable
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Attend work regularly and on time

General Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.
