What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist - CrossFit Therapy Provider position at Prava Therapy?
Private Practice Jump Start
Prava Therapy is seeking an entrepreneurial physical therapist to build their own practice inside an established CrossFit gym and serve as the community’s in-house physical therapy partner.
This opportunity is ideal for a PT who enjoys working with active adults, understands strength training, and wants to grow a practice through relationships with gym members and coaches. It’s also a great fit for an existing mobile or concierge therapist looking for a consistent physical location.
The Opportunity
Develop your own patient caseload while becoming a trusted resource for the gym community. You’ll help members recover from injuries, improve mobility, and return to the workouts and activities they enjoy.
Treatment space is located within the gym’s shared training environment, offering opportunities to integrate rehabilitation with functional exercise and strength training.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports-related conditions.
- Create individualized treatment plans that support patients’ activity and training goals.
- Collaborate with coaches, with patient permission, on exercise modifications and return to training.
- Build relationships with members through injury screenings, educational workshops, and community involvement.
- Grow your practice by serving gym members and patients from the surrounding community.
- Manage your schedule, documentation, and patient care with clinical autonomy.
What Prava Provides
- Gym treatment space with rent covered by Prava.
- EMR access, credentialing, billing, and administrative support.
- Marketing support to help establish and grow your practice.
- A pathway to practice ownership with less administrative burden.
Who We’re Looking For
- A physical therapist with an active North Carolina PT license and professional liability insurance.
- Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills.
- Experience or interest in CrossFit, strength training, and treating active adults.
- An approachable communicator who enjoys building relationships with patients and coaches.
- A self-directed clinician motivated to develop and grow their own business.
Practice Structure
This is a 1099 practice-owner opportunity with a flexible schedule and compensation based on patient services and the Prava agreement. You’ll build your caseload over time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time practice.
