Primary Responsibilities:

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing (Fluorescent Penetrant and Etch)
- Process parts, interpret, and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results in accordance with procedures
- Familiar with the scope and limitations of the method, as certified and as directed, be capable of providing the necessary training to NDT candidates
- Familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the methods, including the scope and limitations of each technique/method
- Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards
- Perform cleaning and inspection of aircraft airfoils according to customers’ specifications.
- Perform annual spot checks of Level 2 certified inspectors
- Review and approve NDT work instructions
- Demonstrate ability to work under a minimal amount of direction.
- Be proficient in handling all the equipment that applies to completing the required job
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively cooperate and communicate with co-workers and personnel in other departments.
- Must be proficient in all areas of NDT and have the ability to train others
- Pass the near vision eye test at Jaeger 1 and the color perception test
- Must have basic Solumina computer skills.
- Five years minimum Level 2 Certification in Etch and FPI
- Pass Etch and FPI Level 3 refresher training courses after selection
