Job Summary:

• The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 2nd shift Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector. Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This shift earns 8% shift premium after training period on 1st shift.
• This position is responsible for processing /inspecting a large variety of engine cases/components to determine and verify conformance by means of Non-Destructive Testing Inspection, to ensure conformance with acceptance criteria.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience/education in NDT methods
• Experience in aviation component repair
• Basic knowledge of MS office programs and SAP
• Technical education resulting in certificate
• Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations and guidance material

Additional Information:

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
