Plant Safety Programs Coordinator

Pratt Retail Specialties - Production Facilities
Newnan, GA Full Time
POSTED ON 7/8/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/4/2026

About the Role

Picture your day: you start with a floor walk, noticing line clearances, listening for unusual sounds, and greeting operators by name. You pause at a machine to verify guards, note a small tripping hazard, and log it into a Preventive Action Report. Before lunch, you brief the Plant Safety Committee, then step into an incident review, pulling surveillance footage to clarify root causes. In the afternoon, you coach a lead on GMPs and close the loop on a training document update. Throughout, you’re the on-site face of the safety department—supporting the Divisional Safety Manager while championing a culture where everyone owns safety.

Role Summary

  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and customers; deliver clear coaching, both positive and corrective.

  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.

How You Work
