What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waste Water Operator position at Pratt Industries?
Summary Responsible for the lubrication and maintenance of equipment. Operate plant waste water treatment system. To minimize downtime and keep the machines producing at a maximum level of efficiency by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Areas of Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Practice safe work habits at all times. Safety lock out / tag out procedures. Comply with all company policies and procedures, and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
Oversees operation of plant waste water treatment, sump cleanliness, filter press operation/cleaning, chemical storage and transport. Proper use of hazardous material handling protection; rubber gloves, face shield, aprons.
Assists other Mechanics
Ensure all work orders are completed entirely and that repairs and work are performed properly. Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
Additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
