Prasada Center for Wellbeing is hiring Intensive In-Home Counselors (IIC) to support children and families across Northern New Jersey. This is a flexible, community-based role ideal for clinicians who want meaningful work with strong earning potential. This is a field-based position with flexible scheduling.
Service Areas: Morris, Sussex, Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Somerset, Warren, Hunterdon, Hudson, Ocean & Monmouth Counties
Setting: In-home & community-based (telehealth only when approved)
What You’ll Do
- Provide in-home counseling to children & families
- Support clients with:
- Emotional regulation & behavior management
- Anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and mood challenges
- Deliver short-term, crisis-focused therapy
- Provide parent coaching & family support
- Use evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, etc.)
- Collaborate with care teams (MRSS, CMOs)
- Complete treatment plans & notes in EHR
Qualifications
- NJ License: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAC, or LSW
- 2 years experience with children/adolescents
- Experience with behavioral health, autism, or developmental disabilities
- Valid NJ Driver’s License & reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
- CBT / DBT experience
- Play therapy, Floortime, or creative therapies
Pay & Flexibility
- $68 – $90/hour (Contract/Part-Time)
- $65,500 – $85,000/year (Full-Time)
- Flexible scheduling – build your own caseload
