Senior Windchill PLM Consultant
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Windchill PLM Consultant with 15 years of hands-on experience implementing Windchill PLM in discrete manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate combines deep platform expertise with proven data migration and project leadership experience, and can operate effectively across onshore/offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Windchill PLM and its modules (PartLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink) to meet business requirements, including Part & Document management, Part-Document alignment, engineering design lifecycles, and change management workflows.
- Translate business and engineering requirements into Windchill PLM solution designs.
- Design and execute end-to-end engineering data migrations from legacy systems into Windchill PLM, including data extraction, transformation, history preservation, validation, and load.
- Manage engineering data for discrete manufacturing — Parts, 3D models, 2D drawings, and design variants — following Windchill PLM best practices for data representation.
- Lead and coordinate project delivery with offshore team members, delegating tasks and tracking execution.
- Report project status, progress, and risks to the PMO on a regular basis.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communication and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in Windchill PLM implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of Windchill PLM architecture, Part/Document management, and change management workflows.
- Proven experience configuring and customizing PartLink, MPMLink, and ProjectLink modules.
- Demonstrated success delivering full-cycle legacy-to-Windchill data migrations.
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing engineering data (Parts, 3D/2D design data, variants).
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Experience leading distributed/offshore project teams and reporting to PMO stakeholders.
