Job Description:
As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will be the face of our pro shop, providing excellent customer service and assisting golfers with their needs. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting customers with purchases, tee times, and inquiries.
- Operating the point-of-sale system and handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Managing tee time reservations and maintaining the tee sheet.
- Providing information about golf course policies, services, and merchandise.
- Assisting with merchandise display, inventory management, and restocking.
- Maintaining a clean and organized pro shop environment.
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Assisting with golf event registration and scoring.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of golf and golf equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in operating a point-of-sale system and handling cash transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
