The position is available for the Fall 2024 semester and may continue on as-needed basis. Responsibilities: Teaching social work courses as assigned; grading, keeping records, posting grades (mid-term and final), submitting attendance reporting, keeping office hours, submitting departmental end of semester clearance items, as required, and maintaining compliance with rules and policies of the department, college and university and the Texas A&M University System. Providing service to the department, college, university, and the profession. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program is required. One year teaching experience at the college level. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, and presentation applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Interpersonal and communication skills. Planning and organization skills. Preferred Qualifications: Earned Doctorate (PhD/DSW) in Social Work or a closely related field. Two or more years teaching experience at the college level. Ability to teaching across the BSW program curriculum is preferred.
