JOB OVERVIEW
Prairie UU Society is a small, open-minded church community located in the Dunn’s Marsh neighborhood of Madison, WI. The Office Administrator provides ongoing administrative and program support for our Congregation, the Minister, the Board, and various Committees. This position works closely with the Program Committee Chair, Housing & Property Committee Chair, Finance Committee Chair, and Prairie Board President. This position reports to the Prairie Board President.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
● Provide general administrative and technical support for all stakeholders
● Maintain/update website events calendar and content
● Maintain member database
● Support financial operations with basic bookkeeping, bill payment, etc
● Coordinate building rentals and readiness
● Other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
● Flexible schedule may include remote work and will have consistent on-site hours with
preference to Sunday mornings, schedule approved by the Board President
● Combination of onsite and work from home schedule may be possible
● Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
● The office is on the 2nd floor without elevator access. The position requires navigating
one flight of stairs while working in the office.
