What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Screening, Assessment and Evaluation position at Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare?
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Treat all individuals with dignity and respect while maintaining agency standards of confidentiality, professionalism and objectivity.
- Provide screening, crisis intervention, evaluation/assessment to individuals affected by behavioral health conditions to include all outpatient treatment programs.
- Refer patients to the appropriate level of care and/or intervention based upon the information collected within the screening, assessment or evaluation.
- Develop and maintain a community referral network.
- Assume 24 hour on-call duty once every staff rotation as needed.
- Maintain all regulatory, contract and documentation standards and data collection, and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Provide consistent collaboration and coordination of care between all Prairie Ridge services, including, but not limited to psychiatry, peer support and other services.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all documentation and reporting systems to include all state and national reporting systems, Accreditation Now, MyOutcomes, and Electronic Health Record.
- Attend staff consultation, supervision and training activities.
- Proficiency in clinical practices identified as best practice by the agency demonstrated through supervision and direct observation.
- Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all CARF policies and procedures.
- Maintain minimum productivity hours as set by the agency standard.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a master’s degree in behavioral healthcare and a license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LISW.
- Understanding of the mission of Prairie Ridge and the patients we work with.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, as well as record keeping.
- Technology skills allowing for proficiency in use of electronic health record.
- Physical demands: The employee frequently lifts and moves up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
