When you'll work…
We are currently hiring an experienced Production Area Lead to join our 3rd shift team.
What you'll do…
- Support production teams by promoting people and food safety while encouraging teamwork to meet and exceed production goals.
- Monitor production lines to ensure daily schedule attainment and proper material usage.
- Work with supervisor to ensure policy and procedure are followed; participating in projects as needed to address issues and make improvements.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of manufacturing equipment to determine when to escalate mechanical concerns to leadership.

- Proven ability to operate safely by following all food and people guidelines.
- Utilizing knowledge from your 1-3 years' experience with manufacturing to motivate your team to deliver daily production goals.
- Organized and wholistic approach to staffing to ensure adequate headcount for attainment of daily schedule; collaborating with production admin as needed to adjust numbers.
- Dedicated team leader who encourages and inspires team members to perform at their highest levels.
- Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo's team succeeds.
