AutoCAD Drafter
Prairie Point Land Surveying (“Prairie Point”) is seeking a full-time AutoCAD Drafter to support our surveying team from field-data processing through final project delivery. This position will produce accurate, professional survey documents for boundary, topographic, oil and gas, and construction projects.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop survey drawings from field-collected data through final submittal.
- Prepare ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, subdivision plats, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
- Create 3D topographic surfaces and models.
- Produce oil and gas profiles, alignment sheets, and related deliverables.
- Prepare drawings and calculations for construction layout projects.
- Process and analyze raw survey data for mathematical closure, geometric accuracy, and completeness.
- Prepare survey information for Geographic Information System (GIS) applications.
- Request utility locates through Call Okie.
- Communicate effectively with field crews, project managers, and other team members.
- Review work for accuracy and prepare deliverables according to project requirements and Prairie Point standards.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Proficiency with PDF software, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- At least two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Previous experience drafting boundary and topographic surveys preferred.
- Familiarity with ALTA surveys, subdivision plats, legal descriptions, and survey exhibits is a plus.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and contribute to process improvements.
