Caregiver & Housekeeping – Assisted Living (Full-Time / Part-Time Available)
Prairie Place Assisted Living – Ripon, WI
Prairie Place Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers and Housekeepers to join our team. We are a resident-focused community committed to providing high-quality care in a respectful, supportive environment.
We are currently hiring for day, evening, and overnight shifts, including 12-hour and 8-hour scheduling options (caregiver roles).
Caregiver Position
Position Summary:
As a caregiver at Prairie Place, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support medication administration (per facility policy and training)
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Accurately document care and communicate with team members
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving or CNA experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must pass background check
Housekeeper Position
Position Summary:
The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Clean resident apartments, common areas, and restrooms
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and sanitize surfaces
- Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the building
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Report maintenance or safety concerns
- Work efficiently while respecting resident privacy and space
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred (but not required)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
- Professional and respectful interaction with residents
- Must pass background check
