What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Prairie Nursery Inc?
We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. You will use Dynamics 365 Business Central to process business transactions including accounts payable and receivable. The successful candidate will be familiar with all accounting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for invoicing all sales orders in Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Provide accounting and clerical support to Customer Service and Finance Departments
- Reconcile credit card payments and merchant statements
- Bank account reconciliation
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Constantly update job knowledge
Skills
- Proven accounting experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in Office 365 apps and accounting software (Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred)
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
