What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Operations Banker position at Prairie Meadows?
Shift: 10pm-6pm
Days Off: Tuesday/Wednesday
$18.50/hour Get paid when you need it – daily, weekly or biweekly!
($20.50-$22.50/hour including tips) **tips are not guaranteed
Enjoy counting money down to the exact penny? As a main banker, the counting never stops! You’ll be the math wiz working behind the scenes to keep the Midwest’s premiere entertainment destination running smoothly. At Prairie Meadows, you’ll work with a diverse, top-notch team that provides the training you need to succeed.
Here’s what you’d be responsible for:
- Receiving and processing all funds from all departments to ensure each shift’s transactions and monies balance.
- Completing required paperwork, money exchanges, and bag redemptions.
- Protecting and safeguarding the company’s assets and funds.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. One year of cash handling experience required. Knowledge of 10-key by touch and strong math skills required. Accounting or banking experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred. Excellent guest service skills and attention to detail required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in small confined areas. Must be able to handle a fast-paced and stressful environment with secondary smoke and loud noise. Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. is required. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist and grip objects, kneel, crawl, and differentiate colors. Weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.
