Service Technician

Prairie Lakes Management is a family-owned and operated property management company that specializes in multi-family housing complexes throughout Minnesota. We are currently looking for a highly motivated Service Technician to help us meet the growing demand for service and join our team in our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Complete unit turns in a timely manner. This includes: Inspecting; kitchen appliances, laundry, plumbing, and electrical systems. Repairing drywall, damaged trim, sagging doors, windows, etc. painting units as needed. *

* Complete unit turns in a timely manner.*

* Repair monthly, weekly, seasonal, and annual repairs as needed.*

* Perform carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical repair.*

* Performs work order requests from property staff and residents. Communicates with Property Manager regarding the status of work and other issues as they arise.*

* Make certain all service requests are completed in a timely manner.*

* Communicates with Property Manager regarding the status of work and other issues as they arise.*

* Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants and promotes a quality living experience for all residents.*

* Maintains and safeguards all company tools and equipment.*

Requirements:

* Valid Driver’s license.*

* Minimum of 1 year experience*

* Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.*

* Be timely and efficient.*

* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.*

* Must be willing to perform any and all duties related to the position.*

* Computer and/or Tablet skills

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
