Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, glassware, and ingredients efficiently throughout shifts
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety techniques
- Prepare simple food items or garnishes as needed for drink presentation or customer requests
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with catering or banquet setups
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing accurately
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations while managing customer orders with professionalism and excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Previous bar experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS; cashiering skills are advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and beverage service standards within hospitality settings
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and heavy equipment movement safely
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel environments is beneficial but not required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness through cleaning duties and food safety practices
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and energetic approach to work
