Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor and record residents’ vital signs and health status regularly to ensure their safety and well-being
- Support residents with medication reminders and help coordinate medication administration under supervision or as directed by healthcare professionals
- Engage residents in social activities, recreational programs, and meaningful conversations to promote mental stimulation and emotional health
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ behavior or health to the supervising healthcare team promptly
- Assist with meals, feeding assistance, and ensuring proper nutrition for each resident
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and behavior management techniques
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
- Willingness to obtain or have current certifications in CPR/First Aid (training provided if needed)
- Valid driver’s license for driving residents or transportation duties preferred
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience for working with seniors or individuals with disabilities

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
