- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity
- Monitor vital signs, report changes to licensed nurses, and assist with range-of-motion exercises
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
- Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of South Dakota
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
