What You Will Do:
- Lead the design of HVAC, chilled/hot water, plumbing and fire protection systems for military, federal, and institutional facilities from concept through construction documents.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection and system analysis; prepare specifications and cost estimates.
- Seal drawings and serve as engineer of record; perform QA/QC on mechanical deliverables.
- Provide construction administration: RFIs, submittal reviews, site visits, and punch lists.
- Mentor and direct mechanical designers and junior engineers.
- Build client relationships and help develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 8 years of mechanical design experience in building systems/MEP consulting.
- Licensure: Current Illinois Professional Engineer license, or ability to obtain Illinois licensure within the first six months of employment. Licensure in multiple states is a plus.
- Software: Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and load/energy software.

Salary : $105,000 - $145,000
