What you Need:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience
- Licensure: Illinois Professional Engineer (or can obtain through reciprocity)
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of industry best practices, techniques, standards and specifications, and design software
- People Focused: Professional, respectful, and teamoriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate internally and externally
- Can Do Attitude: Positively engages with challenges, facilitates problemsolving, and takes initiative to deliver solutions
- Responsive: Communicates openly, proactively, and promptly, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Manage and perform the planning and design of various infrastructure projects
- Take ownership of tasks with dependable performance and positive attitude
- Focus on client satisfaction and project delivery with attention to detail and deadlines
- Prepare and review scopes of work, schedules, fee proposals, budgets and responses to RFQs
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Mentor and support the professional growth of junior staff
- Participate in public meetings and prepare public involvement materials
