Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization dedicated to lead our organization in fulfilling its mission of providing comprehensive support and services to individuals sixty years and older. The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience within social services, demonstrates strong commitment to community engagement, excel in strategic planning, and team management. As the Executive Director you will oversee all operational aspects of the organization, foster relationships with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on underserved communities through innovative program management and compassionate leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to advance the organization’s mission and vision.
- Oversee program development, ensuring services meet the needs of individuals being served (those 60 and people with disabilities 18 years old ) and align best practices in social services.
- Manage organizational operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and growth.
- Supervise senior staff members, including program managers and social service professionals, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, funders and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and organization visibility.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing social services and disability programs.
- Lead efforts in staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and retention strategies to build a competent and motivated team.
- Oversee administrative functions such as reporting, documentation, and maintaining organizational policies aligned with best practices in social services.
- Promote a positive organizational culture that emphasizes diversity, inclusion, bilingual communication when applicable, and staff well-being.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience working with individuals in the Aging network or comparable non for profit.
- A master's degree in social work or related field or a master's degree in business with over 5 years' experience in Leadership.
- Proven leadership in social services administration with a track record of managing teams and supervising staff in social work or related fields.
- Strong relationship management skills with ability to collaborate effectively across multiple sectors.
- Demonstrated administrative expertise including budgeting, compliance monitoring, and program management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse population effectively.
- Exceptional writing skills for grant applications, reports, policy documents and client communications.
- Knowledge of social service program development, community outreach strategies and best practices with underserved populations.
- Compensation will be determined by experience and commiserate with the position.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
