We are looking for a dedicated RN who shares this philosophy and wants to be part of a close-knit team where residents are known, valued, and cared for as individuals.
What you'll do?
At Prairie as an RN, you will play an important role in the health, safety, and overall well-being of our residents.
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents living with dementia and memory loss.
- Build meaningful relationships with employees, residents, and families.
- Oversee residents' health needs, medications, treatments, assessments, and care plans.
- Communicate closely with care partners, Cottage leadership, providers, families, and hospice teams.
- Support & mentor care partners while promoting excellent resident care.
- Recognize changes in condition and respond appropriately and promptly.
- Help create a calm, supportive, and engaging environment for residents.
- Advocate for residents and ensure their individual needs, preferences, and dignity remain at the center.
- Participate in creating purposeful moments of joy throughout each resident's day.

Schedule Varies: 40 hours a week
What you will need:
- Current Registered Nurse License
- Experience in Assisted living and/or memory care facilities a plus
- Confident making clinical decisions while knowing when to seek additional support
- Must have knowledge or willing to acquire knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and related Dementias and experience with those affected.
- Must be 18
