Summary
We are seeking an Assisted Living Director to join our compassionate team at Prairie Cottages of Hutchinson. This role is crucial in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care while promoting their dignity and individuality. Located in the heart of our community, you will play an essential role in fulfilling our mission of delivering person-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the assisted living facility to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise staff to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure high standards of care are maintained for all residents.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare providers to address resident needs.
- Manage budgets and financial operations effectively.
- Promote a culture of compassion and respect within the facility.
- Conduct regular assessments to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management.
- Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia care practices.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a healthcare setting.
- You should have your applicable licensure (LALD) or be willing and able to obtain your LALD within twelve months of employment.
