Job Summary
Prairie Construction Co is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily field operations and help ensure construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to quality standards. The Site Supervisor will coordinate field crews, subcontractors, materials, and site activities while working closely with project management and clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and field operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, and onsite crews.
- Monitor work progress and maintain project schedules.
- Ensure construction work follows approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Enforce company safety procedures and maintain a safe jobsite.
- Coordinate delivery and availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues.
- Communicate project updates, schedule concerns, and field conditions to Project Managers.
- Help resolve onsite conflicts, delays, and coordination issues.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, photographs, and project documentation.
- Assist with project closeout, punch-list completion, and final inspections.
Qualifications
- 3 years of construction supervision or commercial construction experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and jobsite safety.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
- OSHA safety training or related certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
