Role:
This is a certified law enforcement position for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal Police. This Position Maintains, preserves, and protects the peace, welfare, liberty, and safety of the Prairie Band Potawatomi (PBP) Reservation and its citizens. This role will serve as part of the PBPN Tribal Police Departments Investigations unit, investigating major crimes as well as in-depth investigations such as missing persons, kidnappings and assisting patrol officers in investigating their cases when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Driving: Must have a valid Kansas driver's license and be insurable with the Nation's insurance
Experience: 2-5 years of law enforcement experience, or its military equivalent, with general arrest authority.
Education: HS Diploma/GED and completion of KS Law Enforcement Basic Training Academy or an equivalent federal or state approved academy and to certify as a KS law enforcement officer
Must be 21 years of age or older.
