Experienced Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Prairie Band Health Services clinic.
About the Role
- This is a Full Time Contract Role.

- Long-term contract and locum opportunities available.
Responsibilities
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide excellent primary care services in our family clinic five days a week, focusing on improving health for American Indian and Alaska Native patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting patient interviews and examinations, reviewing medical history, and performing necessary tests.
- Offering treatment and referrals based on your evaluations.
- Providing valuable guidance and education to patients, families, and our community about healthcare.
- Prescribing medications and necessary tests using radiology and laboratory services.
- Collaborating in ongoing quality improvement efforts to deliver the best possible care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
- A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Board Eligibility or Certification.
- A DEA registration.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- A copy of diploma or transcripts.
- US Citizenship.
