Position Summary:
Managers are responsible for overseeing staff, issuing write-ups for infractions, addressing employee and customer questions and concerns, and staying in constant communication with the general manager.
Essential Functions:
· Ensures that the bar meets qualitative and quantitative standards.
· Establish a physical presence at the bar and make adjustments to ensure customer service is consistently high.
· Relay maintenance, cleaning, and inventory needs to general manager.
· Keep record of supplies and cash, and replenishes the bar and cash drawer.
· Night Managers are responsible for reporting security and disciplinary breaches to the general Managers.
· Proactiveness when addressing issues related to personnel and the establishment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Neat physical appearance and the willingness to be a team player.
· Must know local, state and federal regulations for the sale and distribution of alcohol.
· Team building and overall management skills required.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong work ethic and desire to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
· Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining a positive and supportive attitude.
· Previous management experience in a bar or nightclub is preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
