Position Overview
The Customer Success Manager – Gen AI Practice will be responsible for driving growth, client engagement, and business development across the United States, with a focus on the Northeast and Central regions. This role combines customer success, strategic account development, go-to-market execution, and front-line business hunting responsibilities to expand the company’s Generative AI practice. The ideal candidate will bring strong client-facing skills along with proven experience in cold calling, lead generation, new business development, GTM strategy, and winning new logos.
Role Objective
The position is designed for a high-energy, target-driven professional who can identify new opportunities, open doors with prospective clients, nurture executive-level relationships, and support the conversion of prospects into long-term customers. In addition to driving new business, the role will help position the company’s Gen AI solutions by understanding customer needs, shaping go-to-market plans, articulating business value, and coordinating with internal delivery and solution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development for the Gen AI practice across the Northeast and Central regions in the United States.
- Own and execute regional go-to-market (GTM) strategies for targeted industries, accounts, and service offerings.
- Identify, target, and pursue new client accounts and new logos through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, and market outreach.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities aligned with revenue growth targets.
- Engage with CXOs, business leaders, and decision-makers to understand business challenges and position relevant Gen AI solutions.
- Partner with sales, marketing, presales, and delivery teams to align GTM messaging, campaign priorities, account strategies, and solution positioning.
- Conduct discovery conversations, client presentations, capability discussions, and value-based solution positioning for prospective customers.
- Support lead generation campaigns, follow-up activities, appointment setting, and client conversion efforts.
- Drive hunting activities focused on securing net-new business and expanding market presence in assigned regions.
- Coordinate internal teams for proposals, solution discussions, demos, and follow-up actions required to close new opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with prospects and clients to enable account growth, retention, and cross-sell opportunities over time.business.
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, activity updates, pipeline visibility, and GTM progress in CRM systems.
Required Experience
- 8 years of experience in customer success, business development, account management, GTM, or sales-focused client success roles.
- Proven experience in hunting, cold calling, lead generation, appointment setting, GTM execution, and acquiring new logos in the U.S. market.
- Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and generating net-new business for IT services, digital transformation, AI, or technology consulting organizations.
- Experience working with enterprise clients across the United States, especially in Northeast and Central territories.
- Exposure to Generative AI, AI-led solutions, digital transformation, or related technology services is strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong business development and hunting mindset with a consistent focus on new customer acquisition.
- Must-have experience in Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and execution, including market targeting, account prioritization, messaging alignment, and revenue-oriented growth planning.
- Hands-on experience with cold outreach, prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline generation.
- Ability to build executive relationships and manage consultative client conversations.
- Strong understanding of customer success principles, value realization, and long-term client engagement.
- Familiarity with Gen AI concepts, use cases, adoption drivers, and business transformation opportunities.
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with CRM tools, sales tracking systems, and reporting metrics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams including delivery, presales, marketing, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in AI, data, cloud, SaaS, or digital engineering services.
- Experience selling or positioning consulting, managed services, or professional services solutions.
- Existing network of enterprise contacts in the Northeast and Central U.S. regions will be an added advantage.
- Ability to travel within the assigned regions based on business needs.
